(Ontario, OR) - The TVCC women's basketball team had a chance to win in regulation, but instead had to go to overtime to defeat the Knights from Wenatchee Valley College 82-81 on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Paige Vorwaller sank two free throws with 2 seconds left to give the CHUKS the win. Vorwaller led the CHUKS with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Ashley Wheatley also came off the bench to add 16 points.
The Chukars, 12-12 overall and 7-6 in league, will host Yakima Valley College on Wednesday, starting at 6 pm
