Chukar women take care of TV All Stars 107-75
(Ontario, OR) - The TVCC women's basketball team came back from the Holiday break in a big way with a convincing 107-75 victory over the TV All Stars on Friday night in John J Easly gymnasium.
Sophomores Chelsee Baker and Riley Helmick led the way with 27 points and 24 points respectively. Baker shot 9 for 15 from the floor including 5 for 9 from the 3 point line. Helmick shot 8 for 13 from the floor, including 6 for 11 from the 3 point line. As a team, the Chukars shot 52% from the field, including 44% from the 3 point line.
Gentry Oldham added 9 points and 9 rebounds. Mia Berenguer added 8 points.
The Chukars, 8-3 overall in the preseason, will travel to Blue Mountain on Wednesday to open up conference play.
