Lady CHUKS sweep Blue Mountain 13-2 and 15-4

(Pendleton, OR) - The Chukar softball team picked up two needed wins in Pendleton by sweeping the BMCC Wolves, to stay alive in the playoff hunt. Freshman CJ Davis had one of the hot bats for the day going 3-6 with 6 RBI's including her 5th HR of the season.

Game 1    CHUKS 13  BMCC 2

In game one the Chukars outhit the Wolves 13-3 and easily defeated the Wolves. Raelyn Curry went the distance only allowing 2 earned runs while recording 8 strikeouts. Jenna Gray went 3-5, Lynsey Hudelson went 3-5, and CJ Davis went 2-3 with her 5th HR of the season and driving in 5 runs. Macie Smith added two hits.

Game 2   CHUKS 15   BMCC 4

In game two, the Chukar bats continued to roll, as the Chuks banged out another 10 hits and scored 15 runs. Shaylee Flint went the distance to earn the win giving up 4 runs on 5 hits. Curry went 3-4 with an RBI, Samantha MacFee 2-3, and Flint went 2-4 with 4 RBI's.
