
CHUKS extend win streak to 5 with sweep over Spokane
(Spokane, WA) - The lady Chukars kept their winning streak alive with another successful road trip sweep over Spokane on Friday afternoon. Lynsey Hudelson collected 5 hits on the day.
In game one: Starting pitcher Bailee Mills went the distance scattering 7 hits giving up only one earned run while recording 4 strikeouts in the 5-2 win.
Hudelson went 3-3 with an RBI. Jaysee Willmorth, Elise Shenk, Debbie Henze, and Mills each collected one hit in the game.
In game two: Freshman pitcher Raelyn Curry collects the win going 5 innings, giving up 3 runs and recording 6 strikeouts. Mills pitched the final two innings to close the game for the CHUKS in the 7-3 win.
Shenk went 2-4 with 3 RBI's. Hudelson went 2-4 with an RBI. Jordan Henley went 2-4.
The CHUKARS, 14-10 overall and 12-6 in league, will take on the Cardinals from North Idaho College in Coeur d'Alene on Saturday.
