Chukars Show Well at Linfield University

[McMinnville, OR] - Treasure Valley Community College Track and Field participated in the Jenn Boyman Invitational at Linfield University in McMinnville, OR, this past weekend. Competing under sunny skies against 29 other teams, the Chukars achieved remarkable results, breaking 14 personal records and setting seven all-time top-10 marks for TVCC.

Among the standout performances, Brayden Lamanna broke the long-standing 5k school record from 1991 by an impressive 29 seconds. This record-breaking feat adds to his accolades, as he now holds six school records for TVCC, all as a freshman. In the field events, Noah Meckert achieved a personal record with a throw that exceeded his previous best by four meters in the shot put. On the track, Claytin Harper qualified for the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) championships in both the 100m and 200m events. Additionally, Ashten Moore secured his place in the NWACs with his qualifying performance in the triple jump.
 
The Chukars' efforts at the Jenn Boyman Invitational not only showcased individual excellence but also highlighted the team's overall progress in the track and field domain.
