Men's Soccer Kicks Off Season

[Ontario, OR] - Treasure Valley Men's Soccer was busy over the weekend, hosting pre-season scrimmages with the Boise State University Club Team and College of the Siskiyous. At 10 am on Friday the 19th, TVCC competed against BSU club. The Chukars started off the match with the first goal, but were unable to keep up with the high scoring from the Broncos. Then, after a break from playing, and watching the Chukar Women play, the men were back on the field against College of the Siskiyous. While the entire weekend was pre-season scrimmages, where the contests do not affect the overall win/loss record, team stats, or individual stats, the Chukars had some great moments and scored numerous goals against their opponents. 

On Saturday, the men were back on the field once more against College of the Siskiyous. No scores were kept, but the Chukars played well, and it was good preparation for the upcoming travel to Tukwila, WA for the NWAC Friendlies. On Tuesday the 23rd, TVCC will play Shoreline at 9 am Pacific Time, and will play Edmonds at 10 am Pacific Time on Wednesday the 24th. 

The Chukars will host their first home match of the season on Saturday, September 17th, as NWAC East Region opponent Spokane comes to town. That match will be played at 2:15 pm Mountain Time.
