AT TVCC: Jansen is in his second season with the Chukar men's basketball program.

BEFORE TVCC: Spent two seasons as an assistant at College of Idaho, helping guide the Yotes to a 32-5 record and an Elite 8 appearance in the NAIA National Tournament during the 2021-22 season; recruited and coached the Cascade Collegiate Conference Freshman of the Year in both 2020-21 and 2021-22; coached NAIA All-American guard Ricardo Time in 2021-22; coached five All-Conference honorees during his two seasons in Caldwell; prior to C of I, spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Simpson University, helping the team to three California Pacific Conference Tournament appearances; recruited and coached nine All-Cal Pac players, including the Cal Pac's Newcomer of the Year in 2017-18 and Freshman of the Year in 2019-20; coached high school basketball at Folsom High and Ponderosa High.

PERSONAL: Played collegiately for two years at Bethany University; holds an undergraduate degree from Sacramento State and a Master's in Athletic Administration from Concordia-Irvine; originally from Redding, Calif.; he and wife Ashlee have three children, Jaylen, Jaxton and Jaycee.
