[Ontario, OR] - The TVCC Men's Basketball nearly got their first region win of the season against the Big Bend Vikings, but ultimately fell short with a final score of 72-65.
With the Vikings scoring players all across the roster, Treasure Valley's defense could not stop their momentum. The Chuks once again relied heavily on Devaughn Williams who posted 17 total points. Jordan Ekker put up 12. Despite his shots not falling, Garret Long led the team with 9 rebounds.
TVCC has yet to win a conference game this season. The men will travel to Pendleton, OR next Wednesday, February 16th to play Blue Mountain Community College Timberwolves. BMCC is second to last in the East Conference with a record of 2-6.
