Chukars sign a pair of Twin Falls Bruins

Twin Falls, ID - Twin Falls seniors Winston Duggan and Lucas Young have traveled most of their athletic journeys together, so it is only fitting that the pair continue on with tradition.

Duggan and Young both signed their Letters of Intent to Treasure Valley Community college on Wednesday afternoon at Twin Falls High School. Duggan will play basketball while Young will play baseball as Chukars in 2019-2020. 

They both grew up in Filer, ID before moving to Twin Falls for high school. Young said they've known each other since first grade and played every sport they could together. He expressed his excitement to continue onto the next level, as he and Duggan aren't ready to be done with sports yet. 

Duggan played basketball for the Bruins, earning an average of 9 points per game last season. He was named to the All-Great Basin Conference third team.

Young was the only senior on the Bruins baseball team and he helped lead them to win the consolation bracket of the 4A state championship with an 8-1 record as a pitcher.
