Chukars fly past Yakima 106-96
(Ontario, OR) - The Chukar men's basketball team jumped out to a 54-33 half time lead and hung on to win 106-96 over Yakima Valley College on Saturday afternoon in John J Easly gymnasium.
The Yaks from Yakima, Wa outscored the CHUKS 63-52 in the second half. But the CHUKS bounced back as Kendall Williams added 21 points. Hunter Bailey chipped in with 16 points and Troy Williams had 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Jaden Vaughn chipped in with 10 points.
The Chukars, 11-7 overall and 4-3 in league, will travel to Big Bend CC on Monday.
