Title: Interim Head Coach

Coach Brady Baker has taken the reins of the Chukar Baseball team as Interim Head Coach for 2019-2020. Baker played baseball for the Chukars in the 2013 and 2014 seasons where they won back to back east region titles. As a freshman at TVCC he was a first team all east region relief pitcher as well as a 2nd team all NWAC relief pitcher. As a sophomore he was the east region player of the year as well as 1st team all NWAC and 1st team ABCA Rawlings All-American relief pitcher.

After TVCC, Coach Baker finished his playing career at Northwest Nazarene. As a senior he was named 1st-team all GNAC relief pitcher as well as an All-West region Honorable Mention as a relief pitcher in the 2017 season. Baker helped NNU win a GNAC title as a junior in the 2016 season. Coach Baker earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Northwest Nazarene University.

He has helped with both single A and double A for the Treasure Valley Stars legion program. He served as an assistant coach under Hall of Fame coach Russ Wright at Fruitland High School in 2015 where he was mainly responsible for the pitchers and helped lead them to a 3A state championship that year. 

Baker and his wife Tara welcomed their first-born son, Easton in July 2019. The Baker family resides in Ontario, OR.
