Treasure Valley Community College will honor former TVCC Baseball Coach Aaron Sutton at a ceremony beginning at 11:30 am on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the TVCC Baseball Field on the Ontario campus. Sutton, who also played baseball at TVCC from 2003-2005, is being inducted into the Northwest Athletic Conference Hall of Fame. The recognition will be held prior to the Chukar baseball double-header against Big Bend Community College at noon. The community is invited to help celebrate Sutton's contributions to TVCC baseball.

During his time at TVCC, Sutton was named to the NWAC All-Region team as an infielder and the team won the school's first ever East Region Title in 2005. At TVCC, he was presented the Ben Wren Award for Academic Student of the year and the Oregon Community College Association outstanding student scholar award.

Sutton transferred to Western Oregon University to continue his academic and baseball career. At Western Oregon he made an immediate impact, helping lead the Wolves to two GNAC conference championships and hosting the school's first ever NCAA West Regional in 2006 and highest national ranking at 4th. He was honored as a GNAC All-Conference Infielder in 2006 and 2007. His senior season he was also recognized as an ESPN Academic All-American. Sutton finished his education at Idaho State University with a master's degree in athletic administration.

Sutton returned to his alma mater and coached at Treasure Valley Community College for nine seasons; he spent five years as an assistant coach and four years as the head coach and a faculty member in the physical education department. During his tenure as head coach, he was a three-time Northwest Athletic Conference East Region Coach of the Year and piloted the Chukars to region titles in 2013 through 2015. Sutton produced three Junior College All-Americans, two All-American Gold Glove Winners, three Region Players of the year, and posted an overall record of 139-61 as a Chukar. After TVCC, Sutton led Montana State University Billings to two conference championships and was awarded GNAC Coach of the Year in 2018 and 2019. His 2019 team competed in the school's first ever NCAA West Regional. In 2020, Sutton made the jump to professional baseball where he worked for the Minnesota Twins as a Minor League Manager and Boise Hawks as their current hitting coach.

Sutton will be recognized with the rest of the 2023 NWAC Hall of Fame Class at the NWAC Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Awards Ceremony which will take place on June 1, 2023 at the Red Lion Hotel Pasco Airport & Conference Center in Pasco, Wash.
