Heart & Hustle Tournament Scheduled

Emmett, ID - Cory Holm Heart & Hustle Softball Tournament is slated for August 2-4, 2019.

Cory Holm, who played baseball for the Chukars back in 2011, passed away due to health complications after suffering a tragic neck injury while participating in fall baseball with the Chukars back in October, 2012.

Kari Dietz, Cory's mother, and her husband Mick, started a scholarship fund in Cory's honor, and gave 2 scholarhip awards for the 2018-19 academic year, to baseball players deserving of the "heart and hustle", which Cory exemplified, while playing for the Chukars. Receipients of the 2018-2019 scholarships were Wyatt Bleskin and Payton Hamilton.
