Bleskin receives first annual Cory Holm memorial scholarship

(Ontario, OR) - Sophomore Wyatt Bleskin, Great Falls, Montana, receives the first annual Cory Holm Memorial scholarship. 

Cory Holm, who played baseball for the Chukars back in 2011, passed away due to health complications after suffering a tragic neck injury while participating in fall baseball with the Chukars back in October, 2012.

Kari Dietz, Cory's mother, and her husband Mick, started a scholarship fund in Cory's honor, and will be giving 2 scholarhip awards this academic year, 2018-19, to baseball players deserving of the "heart and hustle", which Cory exemplified, while playing for the Chukars.

A second award winner is to be determined.
