Chukars drop two with Clackamas CC 7-6 and 14-8

(Ontario, OR) - The TVCC Chukar Baseball team's five game winning streak came to an end on Saturday as the Clackamas CC Cougars swept the DH winning 7-6 and 14-8 Saturday afternoon at Elks Memorial Field.

In game one, Levi Abrahamson gave up the six runs in the 8th inning and a late rally left the CHUKS short, losing 7-6. Sophomore Cole Jones went 3-4 for the CHUKS. Tyler Roper and Brad Jekich each collected two hits. Red Shirt Freshman Dylan Mansanzarez hit his second homerun of the year.

In game two, the CHUKARS battled back to a 8-8 tie after 7 innings only to give up 3 runs each in the 8th and 9th innings to Clackamas, losing 14-8. Jaden Jensen suffered the loss. Sophomore Jerred Seamons went 3-4 with 2 RBI's and Brad Jekich went 3-5 with 2 RBI's to lead the Chukar offense.
