Treasure Valley Community College President Dr. Dana M. Young is pleased to announce that Travis McFetridge has been selected as Vice President of Student Services.

“I am excited TVCC will continue to benefit from Travis’s education, continued professional growth and accomplishments,” said TVCC President Dr. Dana M. Young. “As one of our former students, Travis has brought an advocacy for students to every job he’s had at the College. I have no doubt he will continue to bring that focus and dedication to supporting students in this new leadership role.”

Travis has worked as TVCC’s Director of Admissions & Student Success Services for the past three years. In that role he had oversight of the departments of compliance, Title IX, Clery Act, admissions, recruiting, disability services and the testing center.  He also has more than 16 years of experience working in almost every area of student services, student activities and residence life at TVCC, and teaches as an adjunct instructor for TVCC’s business department.

Travis earned a master’s in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in management and organizational leadership from George Fox University. A graduate of TVCC, Travis also earned an associate of science degree in agricultural science in 2006.
Travis was named TVCC Student Advocate of the Year in 2019 by the Associated Student Government in recognition of his dedication to improving services for students at TVCC.

A native of Vale, Travis and his wife, Kayla, now live in Weiser with their two children.
