Lady Chuks finish 7th place at Ken Garland Classic

(Lacy, WA) - The TVCC women's cross country opened the 2018 season at the Ken Garland Classic (NWAC pre-season) in Lacy, Washington on the Saint Martin's University campus.

Sophomore Delia Deleon, the defending NWAC 2017 cross country champion, finished in 5th place to lead the Chuks. Western Washingon finished 3 runners in the top five, along with Spokane's Micaela Kostecka.

The rest of the CHUKAR finishers were:

Allie Gibson 40th, Mary Letham 46th, Carlee Finney 60th, Natashia Mathus-Vichi 70th, Alley Whitmer 74th, Jenny Garcia 76th, Alexandra Aguayo 84th, and Keaton Kikuyama 85th.

Next meet for the Chukars will be this weekend at the Willamette Invitational.
