Walla Walla downs CHUKS 3-0
(Ontario, OR) - The Chukar volleyball team suffered their first loss of the year as Walla Walla CC spoiled the Chukar home opener by defeating the CHUKS 25-21, 25-10, 25-12 Wednesday night in John J Easly gymnasium.
The Chukars battled in the first set, leading 17-15 at one point but could not hold on. The Warriors took control early in the next two sets to take the match.
Freshman setter Anela Navor had 20 assists, while freshmen Tessa McFetridge and Kawai Ua each had 6 kills in the match.
