Chukar season comes to an end
(Spokane, WA) - The lady Chuks' season came to an end after two losses at the NWAC Championship tournament. For the 7th time in 9 seasons under head coach Gordy Ogawa, the Chukars made the top 16 NWAC tournament.
Game 1: Walla Walla CC 9 CHUKS 1
The Chukars banged out 8 hits but could only manage 1 run. Raelyn Curry, who suffered the loss, also had 2 hits for the CHUKS. The Chukars could not get the big hit with runners on base as they left 10 runners on base.
Game 2: Clackamas CC 6 CHUKS 1
The Chukars could only manage 7 hits and 1 run against Clackamas. Jenna Gray went 2-4 with 2 doubles and an RBI. Raelyn Curry also went 2-4.
