CHUKS drop DH at Wenatchee
(Wenatchee, WA) - The lady CHUKAR softball team opened a two day road trip with a DH loss at Wenatchee. Game one went to the Knights 5-2 and game two was 9-1 with Wenatchee getting the sweep.
Game 1 WVC 5 TVCC 2
In game one, starter Raelyn Curry went the distance scattering 10 hits to record the loss. The Chukars managed just 5 hits and committed 5 errors in the 5-2 loss. Alexis Mulvaney went 2-3.
Game 2 WVC 9 TVCC 1
In game two it was all Wenatchee as the Knights put up 8 runs in the bottom of the second inning to get the 9-1 win in 5 innings.
Starter Shaylee Flint gets the loss and the Chukars only managed 4 hits with Jenna Gray going 1-3 with the lone RBI.
The Chukars will play at Yakima today starting at 12 pm noon.
