Chukars take down Walla Walla 91-88 to close out season
(Walla Walla, WA) - The TVCC men's basketball season ended the season winning 5 in a row with a 91-88 road win over Walla Walla CC Wednesday night. However, the Chukars needed some help to have a chance to finish fourth in the East Region. Yakima Valley defeated Big Bend to finish in the top four and will advance to the NWAC championship tournament.
Sophomore Tyus Jefferson led the way for the Chukars with 25 points. Rod Mitchell, Edo Okafor, and Landon Jones each added 12 points.
The Chukars finished the season with a 13-14 overall record and a 9-7 conference record.
