CHUKS split with Clackamas on Friday
(Oregon City, OR) - Tyler Strickland throws a no hitter in game two win over Clackamas CC on Friday, winning 6-0 in game two on Friday afternoon in Clackamas, Oregon.
Game 1
The Chukars dropped game one by the score of 7-5 to Clackamas CC. Anthony Pannullo went 3-4 with 2 RBI's to lead the Chukar offense. Starting pitcher Roy Robles suffered the loss going 4.2 innings giving up 6 runs (3 earned) on just 3 hits. Robles had 5 strikeouts and issued 5 walks. Drayson Hladky went 2-4 with an RBI.
Game 2
Starting pitcher Tyler Strickland went the distance to pitch a complete game no-hitter for the Chukars. The freshman from Great Falls, Montana recorded 6 strikeouts and 5 base on balls in the no-hit performance.
Payton Higgins went 2-4 and Connor Benear went 2-5 to lead the Chukar bats.
