Chukars earn another split with LBCC on Sunday
(Ontario, OR) - The TVCC baseball team squared off with Linn-Benton CC on Sunday, and the two teams split, again, for the second day in a row.
In game one, LBCC starter Donte Glover earned the win in a 3-0 shut out over the CHUKS. Chukar starter Tanner Cantwell suffered the loss, despite giving up no hits in 4.0 innings.
The Chukars only garnered one hit in the game, a double by Cole Jones in the sixth inning.
In game two, releiver Jake Stidham earned the win as the CHUKS scored two runs in the fifth to take the lead and held on for the 5-3 win.
The Chukars only produced 5 hits, with Cantwell going 2-4. Jones, Logan LaFamina, and Tyler Gay had the other Chukar hits.
The Chukars, 3-6 on the season, will travel to Eugene this weekend to take on Lane CC.
